The Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila’s Computerized Registration System (CRS) will be temporarily inaccessible to students on September 7-13, 2020 to allow the Information and Communications Technology Office to migrate class schedules, student blocks, and faculty protocols to the Microsoft Teams platform.

The system upgrade will make it easier for both students and faculty to navigate PLM’s virtual campus in time for the school opening on October 5 for the first semester of Academic Year 2020-2021.

The registration period is ongoing until Sunday, September 6, then will resume on September 14. Students still completing their requirements for enrollment may also resume online submission from September 14 onwards.

An online orientation and dry runs for the digital classrooms to include PLM students will be scheduled at a later date, and the details will be announced soon.

“PLM is vigorously preparing to open the academic year under blended learning as we acknowledge the difficulties in adjusting to virtual classes,” University President Emmanuel Leyco said. “We need to allow faculty and staff to iron out technical components and convert teaching materials as we strive to continue providing quality public education through our new channels for learning.”

The University ensures continuity in learning despite the COVID-19 crisis, with sustained support for tertiary education from the national government and the City of Manila.

PLM is a premier public university which has produced graduates who have contributed to nation-building since 1965.
