Apply online at PLMAT website


Those who would like to study at Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila must apply for the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila Admission Test (PLMAT).

For Academic Year (AY) 2022-2023, in lieu of PLMAT, applicants will be evaluated using the ๐—ฃ๐—Ÿ๐—  ๐—”๐—ฑ๐—บ๐—ถ๐˜€๐˜€๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป ๐—ฅ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ธ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด.

Who may apply? Anyone who meets any of the following may apply for PLMAT:

  1. A senior high school student expecting to graduate in or before June 2021
  2. A senior high school graduate and has not officially enrolled in any college course
  3. Alternative Learning System (ALS) completers and Accreditation & Equivalency (A&E) passers (high school level)

We also accept applicants who are not residents of Manila. 

What are the requirements? Anyone who meets any of the following may apply for PLMAT:

  1. Philippine Statistics Authority birth certificate
  2. Grade 11 Form 138 (signed by adviser and principal or certified as a true copy)
  3. For Manila residents only: Voter's ID
  4. Optional for those who intend to apply for scholarship if admitted: parent's latest Income Tax Return or certificate of indigency

How will the successful candidates be selected? For AY 2022-2023, applicants will be evaluated using the PLM Admission Rankingโ€•which considers senior high school academic performance, socioeconomic and geographic factors, and personal statement among othersโ€•to determine the successful applicants.

How much is the application fee? No fees will be collected from applicants.
 
How much is the tuition fee? Undergraduate students do not pay tuition. As a public university, Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila offers tuition-free education to undergraduate students, pursuant to the Republic Act 10931 or โ€œUniversal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Actโ€. 
 
How do I apply? Applicants may fill out the application form online and submit the requirements at the PLMAT website.
