From board topnotchers to having a consistent 100% board passing rate, PLM graduates are confident that they won’t just pass but excel in licensure exams.

  • The Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) celebrates the strong performance of its alumni from the College of Medicine who passed the October 2021 Physician Licensure Examination.
     
    PLM logged the highest passing rate among all medical schools with a 98.06% passing rate, as 101 of its 103 test takers making the cut.
     
    The university’s passing rate is well above the national passing rate of 72.85%. In total, there are 1,677 newly-licensed medical doctors out of 2,302 test takers.
     
    PLM also celebrates with its medical school alumnus, Vienne D. Pinlac, who ranked Top 5 among all the board passers. He recorded an 87% score in the examination.

    “PLM considers topping the medical board exam as extremely significant as the world battles the COVID-19 pandemic that has caused over 5 million deaths and trillions of pesos in economic losses,” PLM President Emmanuel Leyco said.
     
    “We are one in celebrating with PLM’s new doctors and their families as they are now licensed to heal patients. The timing of their practice could not come at a more opportune time as the country continues to battle the COVID-19 pandemic," he added.
     
    “Congratulations to our new doctors! We hope you will use your healing skills and learnings to serve the people.”
     
    Through the years, the PLM College of Medicine has maintained an above average passing rate in every physician licensure exam, a testament to the quality education it provides to the Filipino youth.

    According to the results released by the Professional Regulation Commission, only 1,242 out of the 2,229 passed the Architecture board exam, or a national passing rate of 55.72%.

  • Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila’s new registered nurses paid a courtesy visit to Manila City Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso at the City Hall earlier today.

  • PLM received a 100% passing rate for the first-time takers of the November 2019 Nursing licensure exam!

  •  PLM does it again! We received a 100% passing rate in the November 2019 Chemical Engineering licensure exam!

  • Congratulations to the College of Engineering and Technology (CET) for receiving a 93% passing rate in the November 2019 Civil Engineering licensure exam!

    We are proud of our 27 new Civil Engineers and we hope that they will use their skills to serve the public interest and contribute to nation-building.

    Based on the results released by the Professional Regulation Commission, the national passing rate is 43.10% or only 6,510 out of 15,075.

  • PLM graduate Dolores is Top 5 of 2019 October Psychometrician board exam

    Congratulations to PLM graduate Rea Alexis Dolores, who placed 5th out of the 6,800 passers of the October 2019 Psychometrician licensure exam.

    She joins the roster of PLM’s top 10 board passers.

  • Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila received a 97% passing rate in the October 2019 Psychometrician licensure exam. 

    According to the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), only 6,800 out of the 10,670 passed the exam.

    The university hopes that its new 92 Psychometricians will help make PLM known as a bastion of leaders and innovators and contribute to the public good.

  • Congratulations to the College of Engineering and Technology for garnering a 100% passing rate in the October 2019 Electronics Engineer and Electronics Technician licensure exams!

  • When Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) graduate Lili Anne Reyes found out that she topped the August 2019 Architect licensure exam, it was the victory that she had been waiting for so long.

    Architect Reyes, an Overseas Filipino Worker who scored 83.50%, bested 262 hopefuls from United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, and Kuwait. Only 162 out of the 262 passed the Special Professional Licensure Exam (SPLE), a variation of the board exam for graduates who are employed but have yet to get their license.

  • Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) once again came out as a top performing school in the 2019 Physician licensure exam, a distinction it shares with Ateneo de Manila University and the Cebu Institute of Medicine.

  • PLM remains as the iconic crown jewel of Manila for retaining the title of Top Performing School in the August 2019 Physical Therapist Licensure Exam!

    Garnering an overall rating of 98.37% in the September 2018 Physician Licensure Examination the PLM-College of Medicine is at the fourth spot over other schools and almost tying in 2nd place with UST (98.71%) and UP Manila (98.59%) in the NCR.

  • September 01, MANILA – The Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) has registered a perfect passing rate in the August 2018 Mechanical Engineering (ME) licensure exam administered by the Professional Regulation Commission recently.

  • September 07, MANILA – All examinees from the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) to the September 2018 Electrical Engineering licensure exam have successfully passed, the Professional Regulation Commission said yesterday.

  • PLM was recognized today by the Legal Education Board for the outstanding performance of its College of Law as the TOP Law school NATIONWIDE for its PERFECT passing rate (100%, for first-time examinees) in the 2016 Bar Examinations administered by the Supreme Court.
