In response to requests to accommodate applicants who were unable to finish their online admission test last June 11, the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila is setting an online re-exam schedule on Monday, July 13, 2020.

All examinees previously approved to take the online PLMAT will be allowed to retake the exam, provided that they have a duly submitted examination permit but were not able to access or take the previous online examination.

A student who was able to access the online exam but was not able to finish will also be allowed to retake the test, but only the unfinished portion of the exam will be credited in favor of the examinee. No new applicants will be accommodated.

All the affected PLMAT takers should send an email to the admissions office to signify an intent to retake the exam not later than 4:00 p.m., Saturday, July 11, with the following information: full name (last, first, middle name), applicant number, and the copy of the test permit for the June 11 exam.

They will again receive a temporary Outlook e-mail address where they will receive instructions on how to take the test online. The two-hour exam will run from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on July 13, 2020, with pretest instructions from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.

The PLM administration chose to do this to acknowledge the digital divide that hampered access for some applicants who joined the University’s first fully online entrance exams.

The university has so far accepted 6,705 freshmen students for the academic year 2020-2021.
