The Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) congratulates three of its graduates and one faculty member of the College of Engineering and Technology (CET) for passing the licensure examinations in their various fields of study.

CET alumni Michael Buenviaje and John Carlo Gamboa passed the Octobe 2022 board exam for electronics engineers, while Jerris Matthew Hojilla hurdled the licensure exam for electronics technicians.

Faculty member Engr. Thaddeo Garcia of the Electronics Engineering Department also furthered his career as he passed the technical evaluation for upgrading as a Professional Electronics Engineer.

“Congratulations to our PLM graduates for hurdling these milestones in your respective careers!,” University President Emmanuel Leyco said. "May you put your knowledge and skills for the betterment of our country, and may you inspire our students to continue to work hard despite challenges.”

The performance of PLM’s newest license holders placed the University’s passing rates above the national average, as follows: 50% in the electronics engineer licensure examination (against the 29.69% national passing rate), and 100% for the electronic technician exam (versus 77.11%).
PLM has consistently performed above national passing rates in board examinations, a testament to the high quality of education it provides. #
