Members of the newest batch of licensed medical doctors of the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) College of Medicine paid a courtesy visit to Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna-Pangan.
Ten of the 105 PLMayers who passed the October 2022 Physician Licensure Examination met with the Manila mayor on Thursday, November 17.
Top 3 passer Dr. Karla Joyce Badong also joined the gathering and received a reward from Mayor Lacuna-Pangan for her achievement.

said.
Mayor Lacuna-Pangan, a medical doctor herself, wished them good luck as the PLM doctors are heading to further medical training and are now under pre-residency.
She likewise assured that the city government will continue providing support to PLM to sustain the high quality of education it provides to its students.
PLM is also the second best performing medical school nationwide, with its 97.22% passing rate, higher than the national average of 64.41%.
PLM President Emmanuel Leyco expressed gratitude to the city government.
โThank you to the City of Manila for the continued provision of subsidies and assistance to PLM. With your uninterrupted support, the University and our student body can reach new heights and realize more academic milestones,โ President Leyco added.
PLM Regent Jose Ngaw, Executive Vice President Ronald Papag, Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs Clydelle Rondaris, Vice President for Information and Communications Benedicto Avila, and College of Medicine Assistant Dean Marita Fuentes accompanied the new doctors.
As a public university with a public mandate, PLM continues to nurture young minds towards professionalism and nation-building.
