Join us for “Digital Wellbeing: Mental Health Amidst Virtual Engagements” webinar on June 7, 2021, 1:30 PM via MS Teams. Resource speakers Prof. John Christopher D. Castillo and Ms. Carolyn Cruz Quiba will present how technologies can work to our advantage while promoting mental health and digital well-being.

Prof. Castillo is a registered social worker and faculty-researcher who has published papers about academic motivation, language learning motivation and wellness. He is the co-author of “Personal Development: A Journey to Life from Now and Beyond” and “Understanding the Self: An Outcome-Based Module”. He currently teaches psychology and social science at Mapúa University, Manila.

Ms. Quiba is a certified Master Trainer of National Board for Certified Counselors’ Mental Health Facilitator program and Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) Master Practitioner by the American Union of NLP. She heads the Lyceum of the Philippines University’s Guidance and Testing Center. She is one of the authors of learning resources for senior high school subjects Personal Development and Pansariling Kaunlaran commissioned by the Department of Education. She graduated cum laude with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, and Master of Arts in School Counseling from the De La Salle University-Manila. She placed top 10 in the first licensure examination for Guidance and Counseling in 2008.
