The Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila will continue to conduct onsite validation and distribution of cash aid for the Social Amelioration Program (SAP) for students from October 13-16, 2020.

The Social Amelioration Project of the Manila City Government under Mayor Francisco "Isko Moreno" Domagoso provides aid to students, and is distinct from the national government's household-based SAP during the lockdown period. This was launched in January 2020 benefitting Manila students starting the 2nd semester of Academic Year 2019-2020, especially during the onset of the pandemic.
PLM students who are permanent residents and registered voters of Manila may proceed to the University campus located along Muralla Street in Intramuros between 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. of the prescribed claiming dates:

Family names beginning in the letters:
 A to E: October 13
 F to J: October 14
 K to R: October 15
 S to Z: October 16

The SAP release will observe strict social distancing and minimum health standards to mitigate risks of COVID-19 infection. Claimants must wear face masks and face shields at all times and are requested to bring their own pens to limit contact.
The distribution will proceed as follows:
1. ??????: Applicants must enter through the Sta. Lucia Gate 1 (big gate). Body temperatures will be taken, and they will be asked to fill up a health declaration form for screening by the University Health Service. Those with a temperature above 37.5ºC will be requested to head home or reported for follow-up.
Requirements: Voter’s registration of student or his/her parent or guardian in the City of Manila, utility bill or proof of billing with Manila address, barangay certification to attest the residency, or record of residency from senior high school (for freshmen).

4. ??????????? ?? ?????????: All documents presented must be photocopied for submission and record-keeping. These, along with the original papers, should be placed inside a long brown envelope with the student's name printed outside. The envelope will be dropped inside a box that will be turned over to the Office of Student Development and Services for validation. Once cleared, they will receive a second queue number for the release of cash assistance.

5. ???????: A staff member will sign the validated documents and release the SAP to the claimant, who must sign to acknowledge receipt of the amount.

6. The claimant is led to the exit. No loitering is allowed inside the PLM campus.

Documents may also be submitted through email at sap@plm.edu.ph or via a student’s CRS account. Login, click “View My Information,” then select “Upload Documents” to electronically submit copies of the SAP requirements. Wait for processing until the document status appears “verified” to be eligible for claiming.

Students who have submitted their documents online and have been deemed validated may proceed directly to the payout stations at the Tanghalang Bayan by presenting their validation notice to University Security Office personnel assigned at the triage area.

Meanwhile, those whose documents were validated but are not on the payout list will be advised to wait for the next distribution schedule.

Those who were notified by email of the payout last October 7 to 9, 2020 but were not able to come may do so any day between October 13-16, 2020.
