The Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) is proud to announce the appointment of Dr. Rose Anna Banal as the new dean of the College of Medicine (CM).
Prior to her appointment, Dr. Banal has been serving as an associate professor in the college and is the current Chair of the Department of Physiology. She is no stranger to the job, having served as CM dean in previous years.
"Congratulations to Dean Banal for her new role! I am confident that she can sustain the commendable legacy of the College of Medicine in producing high-caliber medical doctors," University President Emmanuel Leyco said.
"Dr. Banal and her team, Dr. Frederick Loyola, as Assistant Dean and Dr. Merry Mia-Clamor, as College Secretary, are veteran professors in their respective fields."
The College of Medicine has consistently produced medical doctors of high caliber, as evidenced by the high passing rates of its graduates in the physician licensure examinations.
