The Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) College of Medicine needs (38) thirty eight Part-time faculty members with the following qualifications:

DEPARTMENT: Chemical Engineering
POSITIONS:
(4) Part-time Faculty

QUALIFICATIONS:Licensed Chemical Engineer; Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering preferably a Master’s Degree Holder or with Masteral Units in Chemical Engineering or Allied Courses. Must be willing to teach via face-to-face and hybrid mode of teaching (hybrid means 50% face-to-face, 50% synchronous online).

SUBJECTS TO TEACH: Includes but not limited to General Engineering Courses (i.e. Differential Equations, Engineering Economics, etc.), Allied Chemical Engineering Courses (i.e. Physical Chemistry for Engineers, etc.), Professional Chemical Engineering Courses (i.e. Momentum Transfer, Particle Technology, Separation Processes, Chemical Reaction Engineering, Advanced Engineering Mathematics in CHE, Track Specialization 3)

DEPARTMENT: Civil Engineering
POSITIONS:
(8) Part-time Faculty

QUALIFICATIONS: Licensed Civil Engineer; Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering preferably a Master’s Degree Holder or with Units in Master’s Program in Civil Engineering or Allied Courses

SUBJECTS TO TEACH: Includes but is not limited to General Engineering Courses (i.e. Differential Equations, Engineering Economics, etc.), General Civil Engineering Courses (i.e. Surveying, Statics of Rigid Bodies, Mechanics of Deformable Bodies, etc.), Professional Civil Engineering Courses (i.e. Highway Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Hydraulics and Water Resources, Structural Engineering)

DEPARTMENT: Computer Engineering
POSITIONS:
(8) Part-time Faculty

QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering preferably a Master’s Degree Holder or with Masteral Units in Computer Engineering or Allied Courses.

At least three (3) years of teaching experience and with industry experience.

SUBJECTS TO TEACH: Computer Engineering Major subject areas in Computer Networks and Security, Computer Organization and Architecture, Operating Systems, Data Communications. Microprocessor, Basic Electrical and Electronic Circuits (lec and lab), Digital Signal Processing, Computer Organization and Architecture (lec and lab), Microprocessors (lec and lab), Embedded Systems (lec and lab), Methods of Research and CPE Laws and Professional Practice.

DEPARTMENT: Electronics Engineering

QUALIFICATIONS: Licensed Electronics Engineer; Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering preferably a Master’s Degree Holder or with Units in Master’s Program in Electronics Engineering or Allied Courses

SUBJECTS TO TEACH: Includes but is not limited to General Engineering Courses (i.e. Differential Equations, Engineering Economics, etc.), General Electronics Engineering Courses (i.e. Advanced Engineering Mathematics, Electronics Circuits Analysis and Design, etc.), Professional Electronics Engineering Courses (i.e. Data Communications, Feedback and Control System, Microprocessor, Microcontroller System and Design and etc.)

QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Information Technology/ Computer Science/ Information System preferably a Master’s Degree Holder or with Masteral Units in Information Technology or Allied Courses.

SUBJECTS TO TEACH: Includes but is not limited to Information Technology or Allied Courses (i.e. Mobile Application Development, Networking etc.), General Information Technology or Allied Courses (i.e. Advanced Database, Object Oriented Programming, Python and Web Development, etc.), Professional Information Technology or Allied Courses (i.e. Data Communications, Data Mining, Microprocessor, Microcontroller System, Game Development.)

DEPARTMENT: Manufacturing Engineering

QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing Engineering preferably a Master’s Degree Holder or with Masteral Units in Manufacturing Engineering or Allied Courses.

SUBJECTS TO TEACH: Includes but not limited to Machine Shop Theory, Computer-Integrated Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Lean Manufacturing

DEPARTMENT: Mechanical Engineering

QUALIFICATIONS: Licensed Mechanical Engineer; Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering preferably a Master’s Degree Holder or with Units in Master’s Program in Mechanical Engineering or Allied Courses.

SUBJECTS TO TEACH: Includes but is not limited to Machine Design, Fluid Machineries, Refrigeration, Material Science and Engineering, Combustion Engineering, Industrial Plant Engineering
