The Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila will resume the releasing of cash cards to students eligible to receive financial aid under the Social Amelioration Program (SAP) for students provided by the City Government of Manila.

Thousands of PLM students who are bona fide residents of the City of Manila will gain access to their monthly allowances through ATM cards issued by the Land Bank of the Philippines.

Cash cards will be distributed by Landbank staff in batches on June 19 and 20 carrying allowances for the first six months of the year 2021. Students part of this batch will be notified via their PLM email addresses. Please print or save a screenshot of this email to be presented at the entrance of the campus. Only those who receive these notices will be allowed entry.

To enforce social distancing, PLM will implement a scheduling system
  • June 19: Students with surnames “Aba” to “Laureano”
  • June 20: “Laurente” to “Zuniga”
PLM SAP Landbank cash card distribution June 2021

Students must bring a copy of their student enrollment record, the signed cash card application form, and 2 pieces of a 2” x 2” ID picture, which they will submit to the validators. They also need to accomplish a health declaration form and undergo health screening before entering the campus, and sign a Data Privacy consent form prior to card issuance.

The University reminds students that the cash cards will only be released to them and not to parents or other representatives, in keeping with banking regulations.

Releasing will start at 7 a.m. Students are required to wear face masks and face shields properly; practice social distancing; and to refrain from talking, eating, or drinking while within campus grounds for protection against COVID-19. Students are also advised to bring umbrellas.

For those who already claimed their cash cards during the previous distribution schedule, their P1,000 monthly allowances for April-June 2021 will be credited on June 19, Saturday. Those who were unable to claim their cash cards as part of the first batch may proceed to PLM for claiming anytime during the above mentioned dates.

The Manila City Government's SAP provides direct aid to students who are able to present proof of residence in the city. It is separate from the national government's household-based SAP during the lockdown period.

Remaining students who have not yet applied but are qualified for the cash aid may do so online by submitting the requirements through the SAP portal of PLM’s Computerized Registration System.
