13 November 2009, Official Posters for the Official PLM email: Started in August 2009 and deployed in full scale by October 2009 as adjunct to the 2nd Semester enrolment, the special partnership between PLM and software leader Microsoft was formally launched. All 9,000 current scholars, faculty, staff and frontline offices were provided with a corporate-sounding and formal-looking official email address teeming with online learning and collaboration tools.

Multi-sectoral as they are coming from the ranks of university officials, faculty, staff and scholars, they were oriented on the premise by which Microsoft has considered PLM as the focal institution to benefit from this program in large scale.

Microsoft officers speak about the role of the partnership in bringing better services to the educational communities across the globe. PLM's Atty. Mariano expressed gratitude on behalf of the University and requested Microsoft to provide more premium benefits to PLM scholars. Microsoft obliged to explore more possibilities to support the learning needs of PLM scholars.

PLM's "Microsoft [email protected] ambassadors" Kim Bryan Lambert Medina, Paul Quevin Co and KT Fortuny were recognized as among the pioneer student-ambassadors of the program. Microsoft opens a few program ambassadorial slots almost annually, and it is the first time that slots were opened for the [email protected] program. PLM is privileged to be among the pioneer batch for [email protected] ambassadorial program.

The Certificate of Partnership between PLM and Microsoft, which efforts at bringing innovation to PLM has started in August 2009 and implemented shortly after. Clinching distinctions in the Philippines, PLM is now a valued partner of Microsoft.
