Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) obtained a 90.48% rating in the January 2020 Architecture Licensure Exam according to the results released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).

Nineteen out of the 21 passed the board exam. Out of the 21, 17 are first-time takers.

In a letter addressed to PLM President Emmanuel Leyco, College of Architecture and Urban Planning OIC-Dean Arch. Antonio Nudas said “This honor certainly belongs to a very supportive leadership and this entire university, home to the underprivileged but academically brilliant Manila students.”

Only 1,242 out of the 2,229 passed the exam, making the national passing rate 55.72%.

The exam was held on January 24 and 26, 2020 in Manila, Baguio, Legazpi, Cebu, Davao, and Zamboanga.

Only architecture graduates with two years of “diversified industry experience” can take the exam, as stipulated in Republic Act 9266 or Architecture Act of 2004.
