September 01, MANILA – The Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) has registered a perfect passing rate in the August 2018 Mechanical Engineering (ME) licensure exam administered by the Professional Regulation Commission recently.
While the national percentage is only 60.81%, PLM fielded twenty-one examinees who were all first-time takers. PLM's performance in the ME board is always a source of pride for the university.
PLM President Ma. Leonora Vasquez-de Jesus was on-hand to commend the passers, their mentors and the College of Engineering and Technology for exhibiting the tradition of the school's excellence. Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada acknowledged this as another testament that the university is a crown jewel of Manila which continues to bring honor and prestige to the capital city.
De Jesus said that this is in pursuit of PLM's commitment to provide the youth with a competitive education in a community of worldwide learning and economy.
