The Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila Admission Test (PLMAT) is a four-hour examination consisting of sub-tests in English, Science, Mathematics, Filipino and Abstract Reasoning.
Who may apply? Anyone who meets any of the following may apply for PLMAT:
- A senior high school student expecting to graduate in or before June 2020
- A senior high school graduate and has not officially enrolled in any college course
- Alternative Learning System (ALS) completers and Accreditation & Equivalency (A&E) passers (high school level)
How is the exam conducted? The PLMAT was administered both online and face-to-face from Novermber 2019 to July 2020 to accommodate applicants from across the country and in consideration of the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. PLM shall announce how the PLMAT for AY 2021-2022 shall be conducted.
